A Stranger Sent Me Three Packages… But What’s Inside? – Part 1

It Started with a Full PO Box… a Surprise I Never Expected

Have you ever added something to your Amazon wishlist or registry just for fun? Sort of like a “This is my actual wish, yeah right, maybe one day - but no one’s REALLY going to buy this thing for you” kind of thing? That was me with this item.

I mean obvi - this is MY wishlist and I could add anything I wished for so I did. I had zero expectations, it was more like a why not? rather than an actual someone might buy this thought. You know what I mean?

One day, I received an email that my PO Box was full. I stared at the email confused because I know I haven’t ordered anything. But I mean, I also haven’t checked the PO Box in a while because I keep forgetting my darn key.

So maybe… just maybe there was something in there?

📚 Story Time: The First Wishlist Fail That Had Us ROLLING 😅

A while ago when I had first set up our wishlist, I had this exact moment before.

I checked our PO Box and saw an unexpected package waiting.

I thought, NO WAY! Someone actually purchased something from the wishlist!?

I rushed home with this package eager to tear it open but I had to record this moment!

I set up my camera (*cough* Iphone 13 Max Pro *cough*) on my tripod and excitedly dragged my husband from his office and all five chillin’ to witness our very first Amazon wishlist unboxing that I was convinced came from a viewer.

Everyone was in place, camera rolling… I opened up the package and we received…

Shipping tape.

LOL 😂 - Y’all. I had accidently shipped my own purchase of friggin’ shipping tape to our PO Box instead of our house. 🙄🙄

Queue the eye rolls followed by lots of “Lame.” Meanwhile, I just stood there behind our kitchen island staring at a Triple roll of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape - aka

The world’s most anti-climatic unboxing moment in history.

Fast forward to that email…

When I got that email saying my PO Box was full, you best believe my first thought was “Ok, but is this actually something for me or did I somehow manage to do it again? 😭”

But this time it was different.

This was NOT another shipping tape situation

I onboarded my three boys (oldest, second oldest and youngest) into the car to head out for errands. First stop: dropping off packages for our small business, Eden Body Care (Shout out to our customers—thank you! ), and then picking up whatever was taking over our PO Box.

As we pulled up, I greeted the mail lady with a smile.

"Hi, Kris!"

She efficiently scanned in all our outgoing packages while I asked, "Hey, I got an email that my box was full."

"Yeah!" she replied. "You have a few things."

"Is there any way possible I can grab them from you? I keep forgetting my keys…" I admitted, half-laughing.

"Yes! Let me go get them."

She disappeared into the back, and I waited - curious but still half-expecting something boring like another accidental purchase.

The Mystery Packages Begin…

She returned with the first item - a small, brown package, about the size of a medium box. Hm… looks a little like the infamous Scotch tape package… but bigger.

Then came the second item - a much bigger box. If I had to describe it, it was about the size of a computer monitor in a box.

And then… Kris went back for the last one.

"This last one is heavy!" she called out, and when she emerged, all I could see was a giant box covering her from hip to head. She was exerting effort just to lift it onto the counter.

"WOW! Let me get my son to help with that!" I said, eyes huge, jaw dropped.

I knew for sure I didn’t order anything this massive. 😲

"Let’s weigh this thing!" Kris said, hoisting it onto the scale.

38 pounds.

THIRTY. EIGHT. POUNDS.

At this point, I was just so relieved I had brought my son with me to help haul this thing to the car.

As we loaded everything up, I told them, "I have no idea what’s in these boxes… but I think - maybe - it’s something from our YouTube channel!"

The excitement was real. But we still had errands to run.

I told them we’d have to finish up first and then head home to record this special moment.

I had a feeling this was different, but I still didn’t know what was inside…

The weight, the size, the mystery—it all felt unexpected. Was this really happening? Could this actually be something from our YouTube community?

I wouldn’t know for sure until we got home. But one thing was certain:
